Actor Diganth is not able to manage his calls sheetd in the right order and not attend the agreed programs at the right time. This is a very often heard complaint against him in the Kannada cinema industry.

The producer of ‘Preethi Nee Shaswathana’ openly blasted the attitude of actor Diganth for being elusive even after taking advance payment of Rs.3 lakhs out of his Rs.8 lakhs remuneration for the film. ‘Preethi Nee Shaswathana’ producer Venkatesh speaking to media persons at Renukamba Theatre in Bangalore said because of Diganth his project got delayed for more than one year. He has signed for the film but did not take up the phone calls for a long time. Why should Diganth duck out on an innocent first time producer like me asks Venkatesh in a choked voice.

After a long struggle I established contact with Diganth and took back the advance payment of Rs.3 lakhs. I have got a smart hero Akshay Kumar for ‘Preethi Nee Shaswathana’ who is better than Diganth in all respects said Venkatesh and handed over the letter of agreement signed by Diganth to the media persons.

Diganth is now working for Yogaraj Bhat cinema ‘Pancharangi’.
