Elon Musk is one of the wealthiest persons in the world. He, an entrepreneur, investor, and business magnate, is the founder and CEO of SpaceX, capital investor and CEO of Tesla and holds a powerful position in many other companies.

The 50-year-old entrepreneur recently bought Twitter for a whopping sum of 44 billion dollars. Notably, Elon Musk has tweeted back in 2017 that he wishes to buy Twitter when his net worth was very low compared to the company's net worth but he has accomplished it in 2022.

Now, Musk has posted tweets about his interest in buying the Coca-Cola company. On Thursday night, he tweeted, “@CocaCola Oh hi lol” and "Real magic is only a sip away. (Actual slogan of Coca-Cola!!)" (sic). Last but not least, Elon tweeted, "Next I’m buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in," referring to the drink’s original recipe when it was launched in 1886 as a tonic for various ailments.

Musk also responded to one of his old tweets. He posted a screenshot of a previous tweet where he said "Now I'm going to buy McDonald's and fix all the ice cream machines," and jokingly responded to himself with "Listen, I can't do miracles ok." Though these tweets are made in a sarcastic manner, they became viral among netizens and the business world.

But Elon Musk's net value is estimated at around US$252 billion as of April 2022 whereas Coca-Cola's market capitalisation is US$289 billion. The soft drinks brand has remained the market leader for decades now but people are wondering whether Musk will purchase Coca-Cola in future like how he bought Twitter.
