Elon Musk took control of the microblogging platform Twitter on October 27 and sacked some of the senior executives, including Parag Agrawal, the CEO, and Vijaya Gadde, the director of legal affairs. Now just this he also made some alterations to his Twitter bio.
Just days after the takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk, the micro-blogging site is experiencing lots of revamping. His bio has gone from being the ‘Chief Twit’ to being ‘Twitter complaint hotline operator’ in just a weekend of being the new owner of Twitter.
Elon Musk has also changed his profile picture to match his new Twitter bio. The new profile picture is an old picture of him from his childhood, in which he can be seen sitting with an old telephone. An apparent joke, several Twitter users were quick to comment that the world's richest man has been reduced to an employee working in the customer service department after purchasing the social media platform.
For unversed, The conversations between Musk and Twitter have been back and forth. Twitter announced publicly on April 4, 2022, that Musk had acquired 9.2 per cent of the firm, or approximately $2.9 billion, based on the share price as of March 4, 2022.
