Elon Musk to deliver a shock to Twitter users

Elon Musk is about to take a disruptive decision if some reports emerging from the West are to be believed. It is said that he is reportedly considering putting all of Twitter behind a paywall. "One such plan might allow everyone to use Twitter for a limited amount of time each month but require a subscription to continue browsing," says a report put out by Platformer.
The decision might severely affect Twitter usage by Indians, who are most likely to stop using Twitter if the time limit is not high. The revenue model will also result in increased popularity of Facebook and Instagram.
Going by the reactions to the news, it seems even a good chunk of users in the West are not in favour of paying to use the micro-blogging app. It is not known if the report is based on feelers from those in the know, or if it is speculative.
In other news, Musk has warned parody accounts on Twitter, unambiguously telling them to explicitly use the word 'parody' if they are impersonating others. If they don't make the declaration, their accounts will be suspended.
