Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his girlfriend Grimes have reportedly broken up after 3 years of being together. The billionaire had informed a media portal on Friday that he and Grimes had "semi-separated" but that they still loved each other.

"We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms. It's mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She's staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room," the entrepreneur was quoted as saying. Elon Musk and Grimes are co-parenting a one-year-old son named X Æ A-Xii Musk. The SpaceX CEO, who was formerly married to novelist Justine Wilson, has 5 sons with her: 17-year-old twins Griffin and Xavier, and 15-year-old triplets Damian, Saxon, and Kai.

Canadian singer Grimes had been in a relationship with Elon Musk since May 2018 and the couple confirmed the same during their appearance at the Met Gala that year. They welcomed their first child X Æ A-Xii Musk on May 4 last year.
