After outright rejection by the regional censor board Ramu Enterprises another lavish film ‘Election’ gets U/A from the revising committee.

Ramu-Malasri-Om Prakash Rao went to the revising committee to get the certificate. It has suggested mute for dialogues at eight places and it is not a big botheration feels the trio who tried to release the film before the State Assembly Elections on May 5th. Now the film ‘Election’ an action feast with lot of good elements to the society is set for release on 17th of May.

The need is the theatre Santosh now. Earlier it was fixed for Santosh theatre but the delay in the film release made Santosh management to allocate the theatre to ‘Madarangi’ Kannada cinema. In case ‘Madarangi’ does well in Santosh theatre in the first week it will be a problem again for Ramu noted producer of Kannada cinema. A well run Kannada film should not be disturbed is the guideline in KFCC.

Malashri from lady bond and cop roles is now the ‘Election Commissioner’ in the film. Srinivasamurthy, Lokanath, Mico Nagaraj, Suchindra Prasad, Sharat Lohitashva, Sadhu Kokila, Bullet Prakash, Shobaraj, Pradip Rawat, Hanumanthe Gowda, GK Govinda Rao, Suchitra, Divya, Shravan, Shankernarayan, Keerthiraj, Mico Shivu, Ravi, Vikas and others are in the cast.

Hamsalekha has scored the music, Rajesh Khatta is cameraman, Manohar has edited the film, Anand has penned dialogues for ‘Election’.
