'Ela Cheppanu' To Be Rereleased Again

The political turmoil in the state has hit the Telugu film industry like never before. While the fate of big hero films is still hanging in the air, many small films have hurried their releases with a hope to cash on the gap. As expected, none of them have really set the cash registers ringing. Only a couple of films have managed to make an average cut.

‘Ela Cheppanu’, a Telugu dubbing version of Tamil village love story ‘Kozhi Koovuthu’ directed by KI Ranjith and produced by Tandra Kumar. The movie was released last week and couldn’t make a mark. The producers tried to reach out to the public thru the media saying ‘The movie wasn’t released in some areas owing to the political uncertainties but wherever released, got a great response. I thank the audience for such response and wish to inform them that the movie will be rereleased across the state once the situation is bettered’.
