Newcomer Ekta has denied reports that she is in love with her ‘Mundhinam Paartheney’ costar Sanjay. She said both are good friends, understand each other, and at the same time the relationship is well within the limits.

“I don’t know to speak in Tamil. But Sanjay is well versed in the language and he helped me a lot on the sets of ‘Mundhinam Paartheney’. This has resulted in a beautiful relationship between us and I could call it only as friendship,” she says.

“Both of us are well aware of the difference between love and friendship. We want to establish ourselves in films and our respective careers are important to us. So there is no truth in the reports that we are seeing each other,” Ekta clears the air.

On ‘Mundhinam Paartheney’, she says, “it is a beautiful love story. I would love to thank my director Magizh Thirumeni and producer Manickam Narayanan for roping in me for the role. All the songs have come out well and I am hopeful that the film would become a big hit.”
