If all goes well then one can look forward to a film based on the legendary and controversial cricket icon Mohammad Azharuddin. And the one who is keen to make a biopic on him is the Queen of Entertainment, Ekta Kapoor.

Buzz is that the producer along with her team had a meeting with Azharuddin recently and said to have even signed a contract with the noted cricketer. Apparently Ekta had to undergo lengthy meetings and serious negotiations before she finalised the deal. And of course it turned out to be a whopping amount.

As of now everything is under discussion and it is heard that A-list actors might be roped in to play the lead. Names like Saif Ali Khan, RanbirKapoor and Ranveer Singh are making their rounds, given the fact they are Ekta’s hot choices.
