It seems the Indian television soap queen Ekta Kapoor is geared up to fight the Romance Kings of Bolywood.. Yes, this year October will witness the war of the year where Ekta Kapoor with her Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha starrer 'Lootera' will be fighting its way to reach the audience before Yash Chopra’s comeback the magnum opus starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma...

The plot for the war is the plot itself… 'Lootera' and Yash Chopra’s untitled romancer are similar in theme and content.. And obviously sensing the edge of YRF over this project since it stars the mighty SRK with the very popular Katrina and Anushka, under the direction of the genius Yash Chopra who makes a comeback after eight years as a helmer, (his last was ‘Veer Zara’ in 2004 starring Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee).

It is learnt that Ekta has given strict instructions to his production people and the team of 'Lootera’ to complete the filming keeping in mind the deadline of 26 October release…
