If sources are to be believed, EKLAVYA - THE ROYAL GUARD would eventually be the film that would go as India's nomination for Oscars.

This is because yesterday was the deadline for FFI (The Film Federation of India) to submit their final nomination to Academy Awards Association. Though the High Court would be hearing both sides of the argument on Thursday, FFI has gone ahead and closed EKLAVYA - THE ROYAL GUARD as the chosen one.

This decision was reportedly taken at the Federations meeting held on Monday. This turn of events has now closed the doors for CHAK DE INDIA or DHARM which were the fore-runners to be sent as official nomination from India.
