Kaithapram Viswanathan was able to prove his mettle whenever he was given a chance for. Even with his few outings in film music industry he has been able to deliver hits that were both popular and appealed to the critics.

A true follower of Late Raveendran's styles, his songs is strongly based on classy use of ragas. Ekantham the latest by the music director also proves the point even though the film carries only a single song.

Kaiyetthum Doore --The song rendered with ease by Dr. K.J.Yesudas is a slow soft melody. The songs in the opening shows reminiscence of Bharathan music of 'Kannetha Doore' from Thazhvaram, but very quickly climb over the shadows of the former.

Kaithapram Viswanathan has given music mostly in films with lyrics by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri and they share a special chemistry, which is evident once again in this song.

The lyricist with his connotations on the nostalgic memories of childhood has given the song a feel that is missing in the recent fast numbers in Malluwood.

The song once again underlines the fact that music director like Kaithapram is still here available for Malluwood, without immersing themselves in the new age of techno music.
