EK - Nana Patekar's first 'masala' role of 2007

Nana Patekar has been mixing his roles well by signing variety of projects ever since he made a much awaited comeback of sorts in AB TAK CHAPPAN [2004]. In the months to follow, he was seen in APAHARAN [2005], BLUFFMASTER [2005] and TAXI NO. 9211 [2006].

This year may not have been good for him commercially with neither HAT TRICK nor YATRA making any dent at the box office but it is expected to change with his first ever truly 'masala' flick that would be arriving on the screen after a very long time.

Yes, we are talking about EK - THE POWER OF ONE which features him as a CBI inspector. In this Sangeeth Sinvan directed film, Nana plays an interesting character which is not just intelligent but also has a funny side to him. Also, the character tends to compare anything and everything with a woman that raises numerous rib-tickling moments.

Starring Bobby Deol in the lead, this remake of Telugu film ATHADU has been completed in record time with clockwork precision and is looking at an August 31 release.
