Actress Mohini started her career as a heroine in Keyaar's 'Eeramana Rojave' when she was just fourteen years old. The film released in 1991 went on to become a huge hit thanks to the youthful subject and hit songs churned by maestro Ilayaraja. She then starred in several films as a heroine in all South Indian languages and was very popular.
Mohini got married to Bharath Krishnaswamy a US-based engineer in 1999 and settled in Seattle. The couple have two sons Anirudh Bharath and Advaith Bharath. The actress whose last film was 'Collector' along with her family converted to Christianity in 2006. She continued to appear in mega serials.
Now Mohini has turned into a full-time Christian preacher and is very active in religious works. She has opened up that a few years back she faced severe hardships that almost drove her to suicide and nothing helped her. It was then that she turned to Christianity and according to her gave her the peace she was seeking.
