Eega's opening collections of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday prove that the film is well on its way to be called one of the biggest hits of the year. Its collections now stand at Rs. 11.31 cr in Andhra Pradesh alone. Overall figures are not available, but it must be said this much that the film’s Tamil version is doing extraordinarily well. Also the dubbed version, Malayalam (Eecha), is said to be mopping up good sums. The overseas figures, which are expected to be out soon, could well surprise the trade pundits.

The area-wise break-up is this: Nizam 4.18 crores, Ceaded 2.50 crores, Vizag 92 lacs, East 83 lacs, West 69 lacs, Krishna 81 lacs, Guntur 94 lacs, Nellore 50 lacs.
