The release of Eega has been put off yet another time. SS Rajamouli has announced today on Twitter that the film would be released on June 8. It was scheduled to release on May 30.

The perfectionist's zeal to bring out a nimble output is said to be the reason behind this delay. With the film’s market growing in Tamil too by the day, the film is set to create milestones. The film recently earned a whopping Rs. 3 cr. as its satellites rights price.

Rajamouli has followed the practice of blurting out the story the day he launched the film, even in the case of Eega. (He had done it in the case of Magadheera and it worked). He has prepared the audience for the protagonist's murder. Reincarnating as a fly, Nani mounts a revenge on his killer, played by Kannada star Sudeep.

It will be interesting to watch if the film has some spiritual elements thrown in.
