Eega postponed: Audio on March 30, film on April 12

Like Rajanna, which was postponed for ensuring quality, Eega too has been pushed by a week, because Rajamouli wants the CG shots to come out nothing less than perfect. The net result is that the Nani-Sudeep-Samantha starrer will see the light of the day a week later. The dates are March 30 for audio and April 12 for video.

Eega is a bi-lingual, also releasing in Tamil simultaneously. Since Samantha is the heroine, and Nani is a familiar face, Naan Ee could garner good opening market there. Rajamouli's Tamil version of Magadheera did not do quite well, but thanks to the web media, there is considerable image for him as Tollywood's top-notch director. Sudeep, who enjoys immense popularity in the State of Karnataka, will no doubt make Eega a big-time release there.

The film has music by MM Keeravani. Senthil Kumar is the cinematographer. Kotagiri Venkateswararao is the editor. For this graphics-significant film, the styling has been done by Rama Rajamouli, while S Ravindar has done the art work. D Suresh Babu is the presenter.
