Eega has no superstar in it. Yet, it has been eagerly awaited and much written about because of its director, SS Rajamouli. Releasing the first look of the Nani-Samantha-Sudeep starrer, the director said that they are planning to release the audio in February. The movie will be released sometime in the summer.

The movie has an interesting theme. It revolves around how an insignificant and vulnerable creature like house-fly takes on its murderer in previous life. The sci-fantasy film, which has all the trappings of a thriller, and which has also got its share of emotional moments, has caught the attention of movie buffs.

Says Rajamouli, The film is about how a strong villain loses his life in the hands of a weak villain. The daring director that he is, Rajamouli reveals the story (much like he did before the release of Magadheera). The hero dies after the first half-an-hour of the movie. The rest of the film is about how he, as 'eega', takes revenge on the villain. Nani, Samantha and Sudeep (Kannada actor) understood this critical subject well and gave a good performance.

The movie, says the director, has a love track as well. Graphics are being given final touches at the moment. The shooting is done. The film is a mixture of entertainment and tense moments. There are three songs, and MM Keeravani's music will be a remarkable attraction, he adds.

The film has cinematography by Senthil Kumar. Editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Art work is by S Ravindar. Styling is by Rama Rajamouli. Produced by Sai Korrapati, it is written by Rajamouli himself.

Eega will be released in Tamil as Naan Ee, which, interestingly, sounds like the hero's name!
