Janardhana Maharshi's minimalist dialogues for Eega suited the film's texture completely. The writer, without taking credit for himself, attributes it all to Rajamouli. "The film could have altogether done away with dialogues. That is the reason why it has become a big hit in other languages also," he analyzes.

"We often complain that the stature of Telugu cinema is not high nationally. Rajamouli has perked up our fame internationally. He is a great director. He is an equally good human being. Sai Korrapati was always sure that he was making a great film," he says. He feels that he was very lucky to write the dialogues for Eega.

He made a film called Devasthanam recently. In the next year, Maharshi is planning to direct two films in Telugu. Gandharvaganam and Haindavi are the titles. Currently, he is writing for two Telugu films and three Kannada films.
