The audio release of Eega was a star-studded affair. Attended by the likes of Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Prabhas, NTR, Ravi Teja, Rana, Sunil, besides the film's star cast, Nani, Sudeep and Samantha, it sounded the bugle for the graphical extravaganza.

Speaking at the function, Nag said that he wished to work under the direction of Rajamouli.

MM Keeravani said that Rajamouli was a director who always encourages new ideas. "This explains the position he is in today. People often ask me why I give distinct music to his films. I would say that it is he who extracts the best from me."

Samantha said that she had agreed to do the film believing that working with a big director would give a boost to her career. "I have leant many lessons sufficient for the rest of my life. I have learnt what it means to work hard."

Nani said that one would be fortunate to act even for a small time in a Rajamouli film. Saying that he was a good actor, Nani said that if one followed him, one could deliver very good acting output.
