This National award winning technician's first film with Rajinikanth

Editor Sreekar Prasadh who has won seven National Awards has been appointed as the Editor of Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala Karikalan'.
Sreekar is the regular editor of director Mani Ratnam films He also won the National award for his work in 'Kannathil Muthamittal'. This is the first film for the veteran technician with the Superstar as well as director Ranjith.
As far as Ranjith films are concerned this is an important change of a vital technician. Leo John Paul is the Editor of his debut film 'Attakathi' whereas Praveen KL worked in 'Madras' and 'Kabali'.
However music director Santhosh Narayanan has been retained in all four films of Ranjith including 'Kaala Karikalan'. P.K.Varma is the cinematographer of 'Attakathi', while Murali Gopi who worked in 'Madras' and 'Kabali' has been retained for this film. Stunt choreographer Dhileep Subbarayan is another attractive addition to the technical crew of 'Kaala Karikalan'. Ranjith's regular Art Director N. Ramalingam who worked in 'Kabali' has also been retained in this film.
