As the Lok Sabha election dates have been announced, and Tamil Nadu polling is scheduled on April 18, all the major parties of the state have started finalizing the action plans and strategies, and the announcements of candidates from each of the constituencies to fight the electoral battle.
In such a situation, ADMK leader and Tamil Nadu chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy today met DMDK leader Captain Vijayakanth at his residence. It was after much delay and confusions over the number of seats that DMDK had finally entered into an alliance agreement with ADMK, and the alliance includes BJP, Puthiya Thamizhagam.
ADMK has been conducting meetings on allotting the seats demanded by each of the parties in the alliance, and there has been a confusion, as DMDK has demanded the same constituencies asked by PMK. With just few days left for the nomination filing, all parties are in a situation to make the decisions soon, and it is for this purpose of seat discussions that Edappadi Palanisamy had visited Vijayakanth today, and he was welcomed by Premalatha and LK Sudeesh, and the meeting also had the presence of Sellur Raju, Dindigul Srinivasan, Vijayabhaskar.
