In March, the NCB arrested a producer named Jaffer Sadiq for running a drug network. This was following a drug bust that amounted to 2000 crore. The producer was funding the movie 'Iraivan Miga Periyavan' starring actor Ameer. On April 2nd, Ameer Sultan was summoned by the NCB for an investigation and he appeared in person.

The latest news is that ED officers are raiding Ameer's office in T Nagar, Chennai. This has caused a stir. Following this, it has been reported that Ameer's Mukhtar Garden house in Chetpet is also being searched by the ED. We have learnt that armed paramilitary forces have been deployed in Ameer's office at T Nagar.

Not only Director Ameer's office but also the ED officers have been raiding more than 30 places across Chennai since 7 AM today. This has caused a tense situation in the city. Fans are shocked that a raid has been going on in Ameer's places following the NCB's investigation. We have to wait and see if this has something to do with the drug case.
