But times have changed. So has R V Uthayakumar.

Uthayakumar, who has completed his Karka Kasa Dara starring Vikranth and Diya, says, "'I have tried to give a movie that would satisfy youth. The target audiences today are youngsters.

"Gone are those days when movies like Ejaman, Chinna Gounder and Kizhakku Vasalilae succeeded. Contemporary cinema needs youthful subjects with glamour and romance which are abundant in my Karka Kasa Dara".

Point well taken.

The hero of the film is Vikranth, actor Vijay's cousin. Uthayakumar says he resembles Vijay a lot. Hence I have tried to accommodate all the ingredients of a Vijay's movie in Karka Kasa Dara'".

The movie is slated for release Februray 14.
