Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham reunite for Fast and Furious’ spinoff

The ‘Fast and Furious’  franchise has spawned eight blockbuster movies so far and a ninth is scheduled to hit the screens in 2020 with stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and most of the original cast members returning.

In the meantime Universal Pictures is making a spinoff of the ‘Fast and Furious’ which will have Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham reprising their roles as Luke Hobbs and Deckhard Shaw and Chris Morgan writing the screenplay.  The duo have been fierce rivals in their past two films of the series and their chemistry is sheer fireworks which is probably the reason for the Studio to schedule this movie for a July 26, 2019 release.
