Ace director, actor and producer Dwarakish drawing his attention on controversy of the title said he is firm and will not go back on his decision to keep the title ‘Vishnuvaradhan’.

‘Vishnuvaradhan’ may be the name of icon of Kannada cinema Dr Vishnuvaradhan but his original name is Sampath Kumar. “In bank account and licenses also he is Sampath Kumar. Vishnuvaradhan is the name kept to him after ‘Nagarahavu’ by doyen SR Puttanna Kanagal”, says Dwarakish.

“Firstly there is no need to create ruckus because Vishnu has been my close friend. I will not bring injustice to his name. Vishnuvaradhan is the name of a King of Hoysala kingdom of our history”, he adds.

“Going to court and fighting constitutionally I will make the title ‘Vishnuvaradhan’ as title for my 47th film”, says Dwarakish. “I would fully satisfy actor Vishnuvaradhan fans. The film will be released in February 2011”, says Dwarakish.
