Amid tight security of nearly 50 plus policemen guarding the Abbainaidu Studio the Dwarakish Chitra 47th production was flagged off on Thursday morning. Sudeep appearing in the costume of a king added more attraction. He sat on the special throne made for him and his parents sounded the clapboard.

The title card showed only ‘Production No 47’ and not that of ‘Vishnuvaradhan’ as reported in some media. Sudeep has taken the responsibility of arranging a meeting with Dr Bharathi Vishnuvaradhan and Dwarakish and sort out the title controversy.

“Let us sort out the issue within four walls. Both the names Dwarakish and Dr Vishnuvaradhan are pillars of Kannada. I would not bring any insult to my most loved ‘Amma’ Smt Bharathi Vishnuvaradhan” said Sudeep. It was only after this assurance from Sudeep the information related to the film was disclosed to the media

A veteran in Kannada cinema for four decades proving his mettle in production of good quality films, actor turned director Dwarakish is returning after seeing the quality acting of Dr Vishnuvaradhan in Sudeep. The films like Annaimaiah, Ramadasu are in my mind says Dwarakish who appreciates the talent in Sudeep. He has taken up films like ‘Swathi Muthyam’ played by Dr Kamal Haasan in Telugu and proved it right. It shows his strength.

Dwarakish is also acting in this film ‘Production No.47’ and he is back as producer after five years. I want to give good quality films. I would not stop at it Dwarakish explained.

Sudeep plays the intelligent guy while Sonu Sood is the villain in this film. Priyamani will be similar to that of Ramya Krishna in Tamil ‘Padayappa’. Bhavana is another heroine in this film. The first schedule is from August 5th for 15 days in Mysore where Sonu Sood portions will be completed. Sudeep will be available only after he completes ‘Kanwarlal’.

P Kumar the long time assistant to KS Ravi Kumar and K Bhagyaraj has made the story and narrated it first to Yogish. Then it was taken to Dwarakish. It was only three months ago Sudeep heard the story and made some wonderful changes to it said P Kumar who is directing for the first time in his career.

Rajarathnam who scored camera work for Durgi is handling the camera. Dwarakish intends to release this film on December 24 if all goes well.
