Power Star Pawan Kalyan's highly anticipated gangster drama 'OG' is set to hit screens worldwide on September 27th, much to the excitement of fans. The film, slated for release in multiple languages, has already completed around 70% of its shooting. However, production temporarily halted due to Pawan's political commitments, with plans to resume after the AP elections, as per reports. Despite several poster releases, there has been some skepticism regarding the final release date.

Producer DVV Danayya, who attended the trailer launch event of 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindi,' reaffirmed that 'OG' will indeed release on 27th September without fail. Interestingly, this date holds significance as it marks the anniversary of Pawan's industry hit 'Attarintiki Daredi' released in 2013, sparking hopes of a similar success story.

Insiders suggest that 'OG' will feature powerful dialogues that are expected to create a euphoric atmosphere in theaters, likely to give fans goosebumps. Pawan's fans have been eagerly awaiting to see him in an action-packed role, especially since he has not done a complete mass project in recent times.

The film stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead and Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. Notable actors such as Prakash Raj, Arjun Das, and Shriya Reddy will also play key roles in the film. DVV Danayya is producing the film, with Navin Nooli as the editor, AS Prakash as the production designer, and Rajeev Rajasekharan as the VFX supervisor. The film is directed by Sujeeth, known for his work on 'Run Raja Run' and 'Saaho,' promising a grand cinematic experience. Sony Music has acquired the audio rights, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film's release. Expectations are increasing on OG as already the film's promotions are increasing interest levels and with Sujeeth known for his high octane stylish action entertainers, fans are super delighted. Thaman is tuning thumping music for the film.
