The censor board has given a clean U certificate for 'Kali'. The trailer is already out. The movie is set to release on March 26th. Directed by Samir Thair, the movie has Dulquer playing an angry young man. Joining him is Sai Pallavi as his wife. Dulquer's character is named Siddarth and he is someone who gets angry for the simplest of things.

Sai Pallavi plays Anjali, a level headed girl. Search was on for someone to dub for Sai Pallavi, but it did not work out. Sai herself has dubbed for her role. And the team made slight changes in the script to suit her accent. She plays a role with much scope to perform. 'Kali' is reportedly a serious movie. Shyju Khaleed handles the camera while Gopi Sunder helms the music department. Rajeesh Gopinathan has penned the movie.
