Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan had made his debut in Tamil cinema with Vaayai Moodi Pesavum directed by Balaji Mohan, and was next seen playing the lead in Maniratnam's Ok Kanmani. He had acted as actor Gemini Ganesan in the movie Mahanati, dubbed as Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil.

Dulquer made a return to Tamil cinema this year with the movie Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal directed by debutant Desingh Periyasamy, and this movie has become a superhit. After his successful return to Tamil with his 25th movie, Dulquer is set to start another Tamil movie.

Dulquer's next Tamil film will be the debut direction venture of dance choreographer Brindha Gopal and will have Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari as the female leads. This movie will be launched today in Chennai and will be completed in a single schedule. This movie will have music by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by Preetha Jayaraman, and is produced by Reliance Entertainments.
