Actor Dulquer Salman and Parvathy are leading young stars in Malayalam film industry and they have grabbed the hearts of Tamil youngsters with the the few Tamil films they have acted so far. They acted together in the Malayalam film 'Charlie' which released for Christmas 2015. The film turned out to be a box office super hit and also became a critic's favorite.

Now it has become official that 'Charlie' is going to please Tamil movie buffs very soon. The Tamil remake rights of the film have been purchased by Pramod Films banner. Shruti Nallappa who will be co-producing the film along with Prateek Chakravorty of Pramod Films has confirmed the news in her social media page.

She has also said that the process of finalizing the cast and crew of the film is currently on and we can expect an official announcement about the project ver soon.
