According to the latest reports, Dulquer Salmaan's new movie Comrade In Ameria (CIA) will not hit the theatres during the Vishu season. The movie which was expected to lock horns with Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu, has been reportedly pushed to May. Sources say that the movie will hit the big screens on May 5, 2017. An official confirmation on the release date is awaited!

In the upcoming Amal Neerad directorial, Dulquer is playing the character Aji Mathew, a Pala based youngster who travels to US in pursuit of his girlfriend. Newcomer Karthika Muraleedharan plays the female lead along with Soubin Shahir, John Vijay, Jinu Joseph, Siddique and many others in the supporting cast.

Jointly produced by director Amal Neerad and Anwar Rasheed, for the banners Amal Neerad Productions and Anwar Rasheed Entertainment, this upcoming intense love story CIA is written by Shibin Francis.
