After Megastar Mammootty, now his son and actor Dulquer Salman has tested positive for COVID-19. On Thursday night, DQ took to his social media handle to announce the same, The 35-year-old said that he has tested positive for coronavirus with mild symptoms. The actor, who is isolating himself at home, wrote a brief statement about his health. "I have just tested positive for Covid19. I'm isolating at home and have mild flu symptoms but (I) am otherwise ok. People who were in close contact with me during the shoots over the last few days, please isolate and test if you notice symptoms. This pandemic is not over and we must stay vigilant. Please mask up and stay safe," the "Kurup" star wrote.
On the work front, Dulquer’s last release was Kurup. His upcoming film Salute’s release has also been postponed due to a sharp rise in coronavirus cases across the country. He also has several projects in the pipeline including Hey Sinamika, Chup: Revenge Of The Artist, Yuddham Tho Rasina Prema Katha.
