We already updated you that Dulquer Salmaan will be next seen in the period romance drama 'Sita Ramam', directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur is making her south debut with this film which also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a key role.

Sita Ramam is all set to be released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on August 5. Today, the movie team landed in Chennai and unveiled the trailer at a launch event that happened in Ethiraj Women's College. Dulquer and Mrunal were present at the ceremony. The trailer just surfaced over the internet and has caught the attention of the fans.

The 2.5-minute trailer opens with Rashmika, who plays Afrin, was given the quest of finding Sita Mahalakshmi to give her the letter that her lover lieutenant Ram wrote for the latter 20 years ago. The intriguing romance saga covers two timelines with a difference of 20 years. Sita Ramam also stars Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, Sumanth, Tharun Bhascker, Bhumika Chawla, Vennela Kishore, and Murli Sharma.

Lyca Productions has got the Tamil rights of Sita Ramam. The film is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema with the musical score composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar and cinematography by PS Vinod & Shreyaas Krishna. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao took care of the editing.
