The 2.5-minute-long video opens with a voice saying that Dulquer Salmaan's character aims to be a notorious gangster since his childhood, which is a subtle 'Goodfellas' touch by the maker. Dulquer Salmaan plays Raju, a footballer and don who rules the crime capital Kotha. The film chronicles the rise and fall of Raju and how he reclaims his throne in Kotha.

The trailer has ample mass moments for Dulquer Salmaan to pique the audience's interest towards the movie. King Of Kotha is not only a story of a gangster but also a tale about the place and its people. We are introduced to prominent characters in the land of Kotha in the brilliantly cut trailer with rich visuals and a scintillating musical score.
