Actor Dulquer Salmaan has started shooting for his next Tamil movie 'Hey Sinamika', the maiden directorial venture of veteran choreographer Brinda Master. The actor took to his social media handle to share a few pictures from the pooja ceremony that was held in Chennai. The ceremony was attended by several veteran actors along with the movie's cast and crew. While directors Bhagyaraj and Mani Ratnam directed the first shot, the clap was sounded by Suhasini and Khusboo.

"The magic of new beginnings ! Starting the journey of #HeySinamika with some lovely ladies Aditi Rao Hydari, Kajal Aggarwal and under the guidance of my dearest Brinda master, our film began shoot today", Dulquer captioned.

Touted to be a rom-com entertainer, Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari have been signed as the female leads. Interestingly, this is the first time all the three lead actors are sharing screen space with each other.

On the technical front, Cinematography will be handled by Preetha Jayaraman and music by Govind Vasantha of ’96’ fame. Jio Studios is producing the film, which is also their maiden production venture in Tamil.

Meanwhile, Dulquer's latest Tamil release 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal' is going strong at the box office.
