Dulqar Salman who has been away from Mollywood for a while shooting for Maniratnam film 'OK Kanmani' at Mumbai has taken a break of ten days from the film.In the mean time, he has attended a private award function with his father.

He stayed back at Dubai after the function with his family and met many biggies including Bollywood stars John Abraham, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Preity Zinta among others who were also in Dubai for the function.

Meanwhile, the shoot of the Mani Ratnam film is progressing in Mumbai and is expected to wrap up next month. Reported to be a remake of his own film 'Mounaragam', Nithya Menon plays the female lead opposite Dulquer in the film, which also have Prakashraj in another important role..
