The Hollywood film 'Aladdin' has been dubbed into Telugu. 'Victory' Venkatesh and Varun Tej have lent their voices to the film. If the senior actor has lent his curious voice for the Genie, the Mega hero has done it for Aladdin. The film is slated to hit the screens on May 24.
Speaking at the film's promotional event in Hyderabad on Saturday, Venky spoke about his experience of dubbing for the movie. "It was a rich experience dubbing for the character. It was a bit intimidating in the beginning as Genie's character is full of magic. Its body language is distinct. I always enjoy doing comedy. The audience will find my dubbing for the character interesting," he said.
Venky added that the audience will definitely enjoy watching the fantasy flick. He added that working with Varun Tej on 'F2' and now on 'Aladdin' has resulted in the blossoming of their friendship.
When it was his turn, the Mega hero said that he has always loved watching children's movies since childhood. How was the experience of dubbing for the film? "It was quite challenging. I usually find it hard to dub. In the case of 'Aladdin', it was all the more difficult because I haven't acted in it," he said.
What would he wish for if a genie were to grant him a wish? "I would ask it to make everyone in the world happy," Varun Tej said.
