As the protest on dubbing has picked up from announcement of release of Sathyadev IPS` in over 60 screens on Friday, the protestors met at Bengaluru Press Club on Wednesday and announced that theatres screening dubbed films would be set on fire.

Sitting MLC, Navarasanayaka, staunch follower of Dr Rajakumar principles and guidelines Jaggesh and senior Kannada activist Vatal Nagaraj addressing the media said they would go to the extreme of setting theatres on fire in case dubbed films are screened.

The Apex Body Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce headed by Sa Ra Govindu, a Kannada activist, producer and head of Akila Karnataka Dr Rajakumar Abhimanigala Sangha has not opened his mouth fearing the Competition Commission of India strictures.

Meanwhile one of the members of KFCC says the example of West Bengal in this dubbed films issue – the protestors have right to express their wish in the case of dubbing. Referring to the case of 2012, the appeal was filed in CCI and the result was that protesting is fundamental right in democratic country. It also said it is legitimate.

Senior actor Shivaram, directors association President AMR Ramesh, Rangayana Raghu and others took part in the meet on Wednesday.

Meanwhile Kannada Chalanachitra Vanijya Mandali headed by Krishne Gowda and team is eagerly waiting for release of the film in sixty plus theatres in Karnataka.
