Remember that little girl who played Venkatesh and Meena's daughter in the 2014 film 'Drushyam'? After the thriller became a big hit, she went on to do its Tamil cousin, 'Papanasam', in which she played Kamal Haasan's daughter. Her name is Esther Anil, who is now 18.

The news is that the youngster's pics are being widely shared on social media by those who are stunned that she is the same girl who was seen as a frightened child in 'Drushyam'.

For the uninitiated, she is currently pursuing BA in St Xavier’s, Mumbai. Having done 29 films so far in south Indian languages, Esther is currently on the transition from child artiste to an actress. The Malayali girl debuted as a child artiste in 2010.
