In what can only be called unanticipated, Chennai cops have arrested a man who fled with a breathalyzer after he was checked at a signal. The Madipakkam Traffic Police were having a regular day checking drivers till a drunk man showed up on the scene. He came on a bike and was stopped by the cops. The breathalyzer showed that he had consumed alcohol.

As the Assistant Inspector Kanagraj was registering his details, the drunk man took the breathalyzer and made a run for it. The policemen had to chase him down and he has now been handed over to the Pallikaranai Police. Investigations suggested that the man whose name is Senthil Kumar hails from Kovilambakkam. He also damaged the instrument by dropping it when running. A case has been filed under him under two sections and investigations are ongoing.
