In a bizarre incident, a 65-year-old drunk man identified as Rama Mahto chewed on a baby snake as an act of apparent revenge. The Bihar resident was bit by the snake on Sunday. Mahto, who was under influence of alcohol, managed to capture the viper and chewed it in a bid to take revenge. According to his family members, the baby snake bit him more than 10 times on his face while he was chewing it. After chewing for some time, he pulled the snake and threw it away.

While the family members told him to visit the hospital, he refused by saying that it was just a baby snake and would not be poisonous. Mahto went to bed on Sunday night and was discovered dead the next morning. An FIR of snakebite has been registered in Chandi police station.
