Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
A couple of months ago, Rakul Preet Singh's name appeared in news reports after Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with the Bollywood drugs case. Rhea later clarified that she hadn't even taken Rakul's name during the questioning. In the wake of several news channels mentioning her name in connection with the drugs case, Rakul approached the Delhi High Court and, subsequently, the News Broadcasting Standards Authority (NBSA).
The news is that NBSA has asked Zee News, Zee24 and Zee Hindustani to air an apology to Rakul for reporting her name without confirmation. They all have to apologize to the 'Dhruva' actress on December 17.
Moreover, Times Now, IndiaTV, India Today, News Nation, Aaj Tak and ABP News have been asked to remove social media posts and news stories related to Rakul. All YouTube videos pertaining to her story should be pulled down by the channels.
On the work front, Rakul is doing 'Check' and the untitled Krish Jagarlamudi movie in Telugu. Three films in Hindi and one film in Tamil are also hers.
