Drugs case: NCB rubbishes executive producer's allegation involving Karan Johar

Kshitij Prasad, a Bollywood executive producer who was formerly associated with Dharma Productions, has alleged that the Narcotics Control Bureau tried to force him to name Karan Johar in the drugs case. Kshitij was interrogated on Saturday, the day on which Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were investigated.

NCB’s Deputy DG Mutha Ashok Jain, however, has rubbished Kshitij's claim. “The questioning was conducted in a professional manner, he said on Monday.

Kshitij's lawyer claimed that his client was told he would be let off if he implicates Karan during the interrogation.

On Friday, Karan had issued a statement saying that he didn't know Kshitij much, as he is no longer associated with Dharma Productions. It was only a brief association that he had with Dharma, Karan said.
