With four actresses getting summons from the Narcotics Control Bureau in the ongoing drugs probe, former actress and Congress leader Nagma has asked as to why only female actors are being targeted and why Kangana Ranaut, who once admitted to having done drugs, hasn't been questioned. She also found fault with the NCB allegedly leaking information to the media about the probe.
"Why has the NCB not summoned Kangana Ranaut, who has admitted to have taken drugs? If they could summon other actresses on the basis of WhatsApp chat? Is this the duty of NCB to leak out information to the press and malign the image of only female top actresses?" Nagma asked.
In a subsequent tweet, the former actress said, "NCB is being selective. What is illegal remains illegal for one and all. Why are they pointing out at only women?"
Nagma's outbursts came hours after the NCB issued summons to Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor in the drugs probe.
