Months after Kannada actresses Sanjjannaa Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi were interrogated by the Karnataka police in connection with an alleged drug racket, on Monday, the Bengaluru cops raided the premises of model-actress Sonia Agarwal, DJ Vachan Chinnappa and a businessman named Bharath. The men were taken into custody for interrogation. On the other hand, the actress who was missing in her house, was later pulled in from a star hotel she was staying in.

The trio was nabbed after an African named Thomas was arrested on August 12th and synthetic drugs worth lakhs of rupees were seized. He had allegedly confessed that Sonia Agarwal, Vachan Chinappa, and Bharath procured drugs from him and distributed them to other Kannada film and television industry celebrities.

Deccan Herald has quoted cops as saying that they had gathered enough evidence and that three separate teams embarked on conducting the searches at the houses of the celebs.
