Even as MAA has said that it will release the names of those artistes/technicians who have been slapped with notices regarding their alleged involvement in Tollywood's drug scandal, Navdeep, Nandu, Subbu Raju and others have refuted the allegations doing the rounds in sections of media.

Nandu, who has been directly or indirectly named in several media reports, said, "I have never even seen any drug all my life. I have not received any notices. Please report only the truth".

Subbu Raju has said in a video statement that neither he nor those in his circle have ever known drugs. "To my knowledge, I know no drug abusers. We have to respect the system. Let's see" he has said.

Navdeep, on the other hand, has said that he did receive an Excise Department notice. However, he denied knowing the kingpin of a drug cartel.

Tanish has decried the "false implication" of him in the scandal.
