It's known that 'Bujjigadu' actress Sanjjanaa Galrani has been interrogated in connection with a drug scandal. Earlier in the week, she was sent to Parappana Agrahara jail after a local court extended her judicial custody. Arrested by the CCB on September 8, she is Accused No. 14 in the drugs case.

Media reports are saying that the CCB suspects that Sanjjanaa owns properties in Bengaluru that don't tally with her income levels. This is mere speculation as of now. Since the issue has to do with the Income Tax Department, it's meant for another day. For now, the CCB is interested in knowing whether the actress had procured drugs for others' consumption.

Reports say that, during the search operation at her Indira Nagar residence in Bengaluru earlier this month, as many as 10 digital devices were found by CCB sleuths. During their grilling, the sleuths asked her why she didn't put SIM cards in some of them.

Earlier in the week, the CCB also interrogated Diganth and Aindrita Ray, the star couple of the Kannada film industry.
