Drishyam to be remade in this foreign language

Panorama Studios and Anthology Studios have made a big announcement at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. According to announcement, they are collaborating for the remake of the popular Drishyam franchise led by Ajay Devgn in the Korean language. This marks as the first collaboration between an Indian and Korean studio, as well as the first official remake of a Hindi film in Korean language.
Drishyam, directed by Nishikant Kamat, was originally released in 2015 and starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu in lead roles. The film received critical acclaim and was a commercial success in India. The second instalment of Drishyam also received positive reviews from critics and the audience alike.
Drishyam and Drishyam 2 were originally made in Malayalam by filmmaker Jeethu Joseph. The films starring Mohanlal in the lead. Panorama Films, which remade both the movies in Hindi and acquired the remake rights of Drishyam and Drishyam 2 in non-Indian languages.
