Director Jeethu Joseph who has made a phenomenal comeback in Malayalam cinema with the Mohanlal starrer ‘Drishyam 2’, is all set to helm yet another thriller. In a recent interview Jeethu Joseph had confirmed that he will be making a complete intense thriller film this year and that its announcement will be made soon. If things turn out as per plans, shoot is expected begin this year itself. Well, the news has already excited fans.

As Drishyam is getting nationwide attention, thanks to its direct release in Amazon Prime Video, remake talks have also begun in various languages. The directed had recently started shooting for the Telugu remake of Drishyam 2, that has Venkatesh in the lead role. Meena, Esther Anil and Nadhiya, who essayed major roles in the first part, are expected to return in the sequel as well.

On the other side, Jeethu is once again collaborating with Mohanlal for an upcoming movie titled 'Ram', that has Kollywood diva Trisha in the female lead. Major portions of the movie was filmed before the coronavirus pandemic. As there a few crucial scenes left to be shot outside India, the team decided to resume after the COVID-19 spread comes in control. It may be noted that Jeethu started filming Drishyam after lockdown, as the shoot of Ram came to a still temporarily.
